Our Diagnostic Services

Pet X-rays & Radiology

X-rays (radiographs) are one of the most effective ways to assess your pet’s internal structures, including bones, joints, and organs. Our digital pet X-rays provide clear, detailed images using less radiation than traditional methods. We use radiographs to detect:

  • Fractures and bone disorders
  • Arthritis and joint problems
  • Foreign objects or obstructions
  • Tumors and organ abnormalities

Sedation or anesthesia may be required for orthopedic radiographs or specialized studies to ensure clear imaging.

Pet Ultrasounds

Ultrasound imaging allows us to evaluate soft tissue structures, internal organs, and blood flow in real time. This non-invasive, pain-free procedure is ideal for diagnosing conditions such as:

  • Pregnancy & reproductive health issues
  • Bladder stones & kidney disease
  • Liver, spleen, or heart abnormalities
In-House Laboratory Testing

Our fully equipped on-site lab enables us to run comprehensive bloodwork and diagnostic tests with fast turnaround times. Common tests include:

  • Complete Blood Counts (CBCs): Detects infections, anemia, and immune disorders
  • Chemistry Panels: Evaluates liver, kidney, and pancreatic function
  • Urinalysis & Fecal Testing: Screens for infections, parasites, and kidney issues
  • Viral Screenings: Tests for FeLV/FIV (cats) and parvovirus (dogs)

For specialized tests beyond our in-house scope, we also partner with trusted external laboratories.

Genetic & Orthopedic Screening Tests

Some pets are prone to inherited health conditions, impacting their mobility, longevity, and quality of life. We offer specialized screenings for:

  • Von Willebrand’s Disease: A genetic bleeding disorder common in certain breeds
  • Renal Dysplasia: A kidney disease affecting young dogs, especially Shih Tzus and Wheaten Terriers
  • Hip Dysplasia & OFA Certification: Evaluation of hip health for at-risk breeds and breeding soundness

Early screening can help detect these issues before symptoms appear, allowing for better long-term care.
